\nFor fifteen years, Klaus Boog shaped large owner-managed corporate groups in top positions. At least, that\u2019s how he felt \u2014 especially as a board member of a company whose revenue he increased from 130 to 340 million. He served as a navigator during the financial crisis, built multiple production sites, and acted as an initiator, revolutionizing logistics and driving continuous growth.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nIn 2019, he left the company. After 29 years, his marriage ended. What remained was emptiness, time for reflection, and space to breathe.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nKlaus received coaching. \u201cI am valuable when I achieve something,\u201d he realized, identifying it as a dominant belief that had been draining him deeply. What remains? Self-respect and gratitude for this formative period of life \u2014 and his strong network across Germany and Europe. He also confronted the question: \u201cWho am I really, without this top position?\u201d\n<\/p>\n\n

\nToday he knows: \u201cI embrace my gift as a mission to achieve great things beyond borders. I bring people together who collectively give a face to a new, livable future: for an economy that strengthens life and promotes healthy growth.\u201d<\/b>\n<\/p>\n\n

\nKlaus refocused. His passion guides him: enthusiasm for family- and owner-managed companies. He understands their inner workings and what drives them. Having experienced conflicts and fears himself as a top executive, he knows the challenges his clients face today. He believes in the potential of entrepreneurs and leaders. He empathizes with workers and employees who achieve great things and deserve humane conditions.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nIn 2020, the idea to found Empatrust matured. The pandemic motivated Klaus to comprehensively support owner-managed and mid-sized companies from a single source \u2014 now more than ever. He is convinced: together, we can emerge stronger from the crisis. During this time, Klaus met Katrin. \nFrom childhood, Katrin perceived more than others. She felt deeply and, seemingly out of nowhere, would reveal family secrets. In her early life, she learned: \u201cMy sensitive antennas don\u2019t fit into my life with studies, marriage, children, and career.\u201d Katrin functioned, wrote a book on communication between women and men, and became captivated by the magic of meaningful relationships. As a young mother, she cared for her daughter and organized the family. As an entrepreneur, she led organizations through change processes, advising and coaching leadership. Business thrived. She continued, guiding and supporting even DAX-listed corporations.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nSuddenly, her digestive system failed: Crohn\u2019s disease. \u201cWhat can I no longer digest?\u201d she wondered. \u201cI ignored my body\u2019s signals,\u201d Katrin realized in 2001. For two years, she was repeatedly hospitalized and underwent multiple surgeries. She sought understanding and continued her education over the following years \u2014 including becoming a mindfulness trainer. In silence, she learned to set mental anchors and honor her own needs. In 2016, while advising a long-standing, prominent client on site, a young employee fell in the hall and died. The machines kept running. \u201cShould I have stopped production?\u201d the manager asked, distressed. Katrin\u2019s clear \u201cYes\u201d was simultaneously her \u201cNo\u201d to that assignment.\n<\/p>\n\n

\nEven more determined than before, she internalized: \u201cI work with and for companies that live humanity and take responsibility for it.\u201d She paused, took time, listened inward, and realized:\n<\/p>\n\n\u201cWhat we think we know and master today is not enough to shape a new future.
